Agent of the Nine Exotic Items Up To May 19 from Destiny

It seems like Destiny Xur: Agent of the Nine vs Megaman saga has finally come to an end. For past few weeks, Megaman openly admitted that he is finding it difficult to leak Xur Agent of the Nine exotic items (with the help of data mining tech) ahead of its official arrival. The reason behind it was (according to Megaman) Bungie made some drastic changes to curb hacking of Xur Agent of the Nine exotic items and upgrades via data mining tech (in short, Bungie started manually controlling Xur and changing Xur’s stock in real time via patch).

Megaman is a relief man now and feels like his task is accomplished, and he openly let this feeling of his know to Destiny community via Reddit. In the comment section of one of his thread, Megaman stated that because of recent Xur’s Stocks leak, Bungie was forced to changed him with new stocks because all old stocks were WEAK and Destiny players were not happy with it.

In addition to this, Megaman stated that he had possession of Xur: Agent of the Nine stocks and exotic items up to May 19, and those were “Awful”, Mida Multi Tool was scheduled to come three times.

Here is what Megaman said (in conversation with other Xur Items/Stock leaker) (translated)

“I’m grateful to you. If you hadn’t published the data of xur, Bungie would not have changed xur. I had possession of data up to May 19th and it was awful. Mida Multi Tool was scheduled to come three times.”

Are you guys happy with the recent changes made (by Bungie) to Xur: Agent of the Nine exotic items, stocks and upgrades? Do let us know in the comment section below.

Destiny Players said Destiny’s Xur relevant?

I, as many other Guardians, picked up Destiny on day one, and have sunk 500+ hours into the game since September. I used to count down the hours until Xur would arrive in the tower with shiny new Exotics for Guardians to buy, but since November Xur has become less relevant to most Guardians. Which leads me to the question, is Xur relevant?

When Destiny first launched on September 9th I, like many other Guardians across the world, stayed up late to start my adventure. As I plunged myself into the game’s story, I was driven by the hunger to hit level 20 as quickly as possible. As I grinded away at the story and eventually hit level 20, I discovered to reach the level cap of 30 I had to grind for new armor with Light. Destiny power leveling make upgrade easy. Around came Friday, and a strange looking person called Xur: Agent of the Nine appeared with a variant of sought-after Exotic items for Guardians to purchase. These incredible looking armor pieces and weapons had Light levels and perks I had never seen before – I had to get them. And so started the struggle to get enough Strange Coins to purchase those beautiful Exotics before Xur disappeared on Sunday morning.

Many others like myself couldn’t wait for Xur to bring new stock each Friday. We would grind away at Strikes, trying to save up those prestigious strange coins to buy an incredible piece. This was the norm for players at the beginning of Destiny’s launch. Nightfalls offered one chance a week at a beautiful Exotic, but with the level being set at 28 and most players struggling to get to level 24, the never-ending circle was born. Grind for gear to get to 28 for Nightfalls, get nothing; so wait for Xur and try again next week.

As Destiny evolved from its origins at launch, however, Xur has changed, and so have players’ mentality towards him. Xur was seen as the key holder for that final piece of armor to get you into the Vault of Glass (VOG) Raid. Then when VOG wouldn’t drop that Titian arm piece, Xur was your only option. Week after week he would come, and week after week he didn’t have the Exotic that you needed to finally reach level 30. With patches and updates though, Xur became less relevant until Iron Banner, for me, broke Xur and VOG all together.

When Bungie announced that Iron Banner would be improved and would bring those ever sought after amour pieces to get to 30, it broke the game and the games main focal point. For me and many others, the main focal point – and the only reason I was still playing Destiny – was to grind out that last piece and to finally get to 30. As someone who loved playing RPGs with mass-grinding whilst growing up, Destiny called out to me and made this grind the main point of the game. Week after week I would complete VOG and not get the Titan gloves or the Warlock helm, but this didn’t deteriorate me as I knew one day I would get these and when I did I would feel like I deserve them.

Destiny: How to glitch Heavy Ammo

Destiny is a game filled with shortcuts, cheeses, and glitches players discovered to ease their way through the game’s myriad of activities. This guide details one of the many ways to quickly generate Heavy Ammo – a useful tip for Strikes, Nightfalls, and Raids (especially Raids).

3Step 1

Empty all of your Primary and Heavy Ammo (we’re assuming you don’t have Heavy Ammo at this point anyway, hence the glitch). This may take a while for the Primary, but the process speeds up if you switch weapons once and then use the swapped weapon after a reduced ammo penalty (for swapping).

It may take a minute, depending on what gun you have – during this step, I recommend getting into a safe place and not shooting anyone just yet.

Step 2

Once you lose all your Primary Ammo, you’re going to equip Ice Breaker (or at least pull out, if you already have it equipped). The reason we’re using Ice Breaker is because the ammo regenerates, so we won’t have any use for Special Ammo drops.

Use Ice Breaker to shoot as many enemies as you like – they should drop one box of Heavy Ammo per kill.

Just make sure you don’t pick up any ammo until you’re ready to do so, as picking up Primary or Heavy Ammo will stop the glitch from working.

Alternative method

Alternatively, for those who don’t have Ice Breaker, you can just empty all of your ammunition, and the game will automatically refresh it – all of your weapons must be empty, and the refresh takes about 10-15 seconds.

This ‘method’ is well-known, considering it was built directly into the game, but it’s also a useful way to gain some more Heavy Ammo if you find that enemies aren’t dropping any.

Both of these are alternatives to using a Heavy Synth, if you find yourself in a situation where you don’t have any or you’re too stingy to use one – or worse, on a cool down from already using one.

Unexpected Destiny, New Stories

Destiny Glitch Tells An Unexpected Story

It’s not too often that a glitch plays out as more than just a funny moment or even an exploitable trick. But this Destiny glitch is…exceptional.

Player leftyfl1p shares the video above that tells the story of Billy, the adventurous Thrall that wanted to lead his fireteam to a chest filled with potential armor and goodies.

Over on Reddit, leftyfl1p explains: Context: After his fireteam leader (green) demands to know where he is going, Billy the thrall (red) finds a secret chest and returns to show his fireteam his shiny new gjallarhorn that he found. He then proceeds to return to the chest location along with his fireteam. His warlock buddy (yellow) hopes to see some luck with this chest, as he didn’t with the first one. He isn’t too happy with the results. He then finds a guardian behind a pillar and immediately wants to cheese him with the disconnect glitch after then take his shield down. The fireteam leader doesn’t allow this and they all return to their spots in the hallway.3

The Guide to Use Destiny Spinmetal leaves

Source:Destiny Spinmetal Guide: How to Use Spinmetal leaves

Spinmetal is a material that can be found and collected by Guardians while exploring. Spinmetal occurs randomly in some areas in the form of Spinmetal Leaves, which can be harvested by players. Spinmetal may also be awarded to players for completing missions or killing bosses.

Destiny Spinmetal

Spinmetal collected by players is stored in their inventory and may later be exchanged at the Tower for Destiny Glimmer, Vanguard Marks, or Crucible Marks. There is also an ammunition type called Spinmetal rounds, which are lighter and compact, allowing for a larger ammo reserve to be carried by players.
