‘The House of Wolves’ Release Date News From Destiny

Bungie, the creator of the first-person shooter game “Destiny,” announced during the San Francisco Game Development Conference that the game now has over 17 million registered users. According to the user research study that was presented, the average playing time of each user is pegged at three hours per day, which is higher than what Bungie initially expected when they developed the game.

When the game was launched in September 2014, the game’s creators promised that it will continuously provide new content for the game within a 10 year period, which for them meant “building on” and enhancing the existing universe of the game rather than “restarting periodically.” During its launch, Bungie confirmed that there will be two expansion packs of downloadable content: “The Dark Below” and “The House of Wolves.” “The Dark Below,” the first expansion pack, was released in December 2014. “The House of Wolves,” on the other hand did not get a definite release date, with an estimated release date sometime during the second quarter of 2015.

In early February, rumors about a March release date for “The House of Wolves” started circulating, which were not confirmed. Come early March, several reports also came out that the second expansion pack will be ready by May 19. According to an IGN report, a Reddit user claimed that the pack will be unlocked by that time.

“The Queen’s Fallen have purchased their freedom with Awoken blood. Hunt down the traitors and your debt to the Queen will be paid.” It will include “new story missions and a new raid, along with three fresh multiplayer maps and a new strike,” a description about “The House of Wolves” expansion pack says.

All of these reports and leaks have been shared in an official forum for “Destiny.” The community manager of Bungie’s official forum, however, warned users that until Bungie makes official announcements about the game, none of what has been shared online is final.

Destiny: New Weekly Heroic Strike Exploit Detailed

destiny

The latest patch to come to “Destiny” brings a lot of changes and modifications to how gameplay and weapons work. And to ensure that fans are clear on where the developers now stand when it comes to what fans can expect next, they set to answer some questions regarding the patch.

For the most part, a lot of fans have asked about weapons and damage in the latest Open House. And Bungie has provided some insight on the decisions made related to nerfed or buffed weapons.

“Actually, we look at the balance of weapons in both spots and make decisions about if, when, what and how we choose to balance said item,” said senior sandbox designer Josh Hamrick as a response to one fan query. “We want to make the game better as a whole, not just one part. All of us play both PvE and PvP on a nightly basis so none of us want to hurt either of those activities.”

A very resonant lament from “Destiny” players is how the changes that have been made for the weapons, even with the latest patch. The changes that have been done to improve one area, say the PvP, comes at the cost of PvE players experiencing nerfs to their weapons that result in weaker damage for PvE play.

Some fans, such as one Bungie forums user CSSparrowofDoom, has pointed out that even the balance meant for PvP is not necessarily one that pushes for its improvement. Bungie did point out that reception to change, for Autos for example, have been mixed at best. Even the existing weapons that ae deemed as underpowered are currently being monitored.

One such case is the Necrochasm, which is an exotic gun that’s potentially one of the hardest to obtain in “Destiny.” John Weisnewski, sandbox designer at Bungie, did say that the Necrochasm does not have a competitive edge compared to other weapons and auto rifles. In addition, fans can look forward to future updates that would tackle the Necrochasm, so at least that’s in the works. The best action for now, it seems, is to listen to the community feedback, something which Bungie does appreciate.

A new development for “Destiny,” however, that a fan has taken into his own hands involves the Weekly Heroic Strike. There were a number of changes that came with the latest patch from Bungie, and that’s in the form of matchmaking.

According to VG 24/7, this follows fan comments when it comes to finding members of fireteams for the events. The common practice is to turn to outside help, whether through the trusted fireteam listings on Reddit or the use of apps and fan-made sites. But it appears that the patch brought in a bigger problem to those who were fine with doing solo on the Weekly Heroic Strike.

The source sites that there are now players who are finding the necessary matchmaking and lack of ability to solo as a problem in itself. Though it may now be a more amenable problem, at least for PS4 players. One “Destiny” player has found a way to forego matchmaking by tinkering with the PS4’s clock while playing the game.

Currently, the fix is actually a glitch in the system, which bugs the matchmaking process so it will not correctly search for other guardians to join the game. The steps to achieving solo are illustrated in the video provided below. Whether or not this will be fixed by Sony later on for the PS4 or Bungie will provide a solution in the next patch has not yet been confirmed.

Destiny Share Infinite Thrall Glitch Provides Easy Loot And Experience

Destiny players keep finding creative ways to farm new loot for their characters. Their latest trick, dubbed the “Infinite Thrall Glitch,” is one of the easiest tricks yet. Destiny power leveling your game makes it easier.

To perform the Infinite Thrall glitch, you’ll need to head to Earth. Select the early story mission “The Dark Within” and head to the Skywatch. Soon after you enter the Lunar Complex, you’ll hit a Darkness Zone and find a gate that your Ghost has to open.

Summon your DinklageBot and let him start working. Don’t go through the gate, though. Instead, hop on your Sparrow and head to the adjoining room. Drive behind the red crate in the corner and stop with your Sparrow parallel to the broken wall there. Hop off your Sparrow and you’ll pass through the wall. Crouch under some wreckage and head through the crack in the wall. Now you’re outside.

Follow the snowy path outside and eventually you’ll be able to hop onto the roof of the complex. You’ll find an entrance back into the building there and will eventually find yourself in the room where you encountered the Hive Wizard in your first play-through of this mission.

However, there’s a crucial difference this time around: there are almost no enemies there. The only Hive you’ll find are a pair of Thralls who spawn for a couple seconds and then disappear. In Se7enSins’ video, they’re level 3 but you can tweak that when you’re first selecting the mission from orbit.

destiny

The Thralls will keep respawning even if you kill them. This means you can easily farm them for Glimmer, loot, and experience. This is a great place for you to grind out certain Bounties as well. The only limit to how much you can farm is your ammo supply.

Bungie will probably remove the exploit soon. In the past, they’ve shown that they don’t want any get-rich-quick bugs in the game. Since Destiny launched, they’ve shut down “loot caves” and other exploits. This particular bug seems like it’ll be easy to fix; all Bungie needs to do is prevent players from clipping through that one wall. If you’re looking for an easy grind, better take advantage of the Infinite Thrall glitch while you can.

This exploit has been live for at least a week. Patch 1.1.1 fixed a lot of issues, such as the heavy ammo bug, but the Infinite Thralls seem to have escaped their notice for now.

The Biggest Gaming Disappointments of 2014

With technology, artistry, and industry trends changing on a nearly monthly basis, each new year in video games proves that it’s nothing if not a fluid medium. Overblown controversies, divisive marketing strategies, worthwhile conversations, and extreme highs and lows are par for the course. 2014 was no different, but there’s no denying that several things failed to turn out the way we here at Game Rant hoped they would. If you continue to see this game go, we find destiny power leveling.

There are sure to be plenty of Destiny fans who scoff or spit at the idea of Bungie‘s online shooter disappointing in any way; the stunning dedication of the lasting player community confirms as much. But the masterminds of Halo did their job marketing the game: the most pre-ordered new IP in history became the best-selling new IP in history, and Activision made their investment back (and then some) immediately while PS4′s flew off store shelves.

But then people got to playing the game and realized that it was no Halo successor in ways that deeply mattered to many of Bungie’s fans. With a bare-bones story, and empowerment replaced with the endless questing and grind of just about any other MMO players had experienced before, the true nature of Destiny became clear. It makes sense from a business standpoint, but the reviews alone showed that it was far from the “genre-reinvention” promised.

Destiny New Slaughter Rules Can Ensure the Fair and Balanced

Bungie has implemented new Slaughter Rules in order to improve Destiny’s overall player vs. player experience, and live right now. The new rules ensure fair and balanced matches when playing in the Crucible. You can buy destiny power leveling to help you level up fast in Destiny crucible pvp.

According to the light patch notes, “In the event of a massacre, all parties are returned to orbit at the conclusion of each match.” The rules in which this could occur are based on the playlists:

  • Team-based playlists

If one team is grossly under-performing, the session is dissolved in favor of matchmaking

  • Rumble playlist

If three or more players are grossly under-performing, the session is dissolved in favor of matchmaking

Bungie didn’t get into specifics as to what they determine to be “grossly under-performing,” but I’m sure you’ve all experienced frustrating, lopsided losses before. Sure, it’s fun when you win, but think of how annoying it is when you are mismatched with players of differing skill.

Must-Read Destiny Level Guide – After Lv20

Do you know that destiny changes considerably after reaching level 20 and passing the level cap? The role of XP changes. While XP continues to contribute to the development of abilities and improvement of weapons, it no longer contributes to leveling. If you still not enjoy the level 20, the best choice for you choose destiny power leveling.

Must-Read Destiny Level Guide After Lv20

Rather, leveling becomes tied to destiny light, an attribute associated with certain legendary equipment and weapons. Light is a numeric value assigned to an individual item which may also be increased through developing that item’s abilities through use.

The Legendary Gear associated with light can be obtained at level 20 in several ways:

– Through Crucible Marks, a form of currency obtained through some Crucible Modes, including Rumble. Crucible Marks can be spent in The Tower to purchase Legendary Gear. (Control, Clash, Rumble and Skirmish all earn you equal amounts of Crucible Marks and Reputation: 2-3 marks depending on losing or achieving victory, and 10 reputation no matter if you win or lose. You can only earn 100 marks per week.

– Through Vanguard Marks, a form of currency obtained through the Daily Heroic Story and Weekly Heroic Strike. Vanguard Marks may be spent in The Tower for Legendary Gear. Level 18 strikes earn you 10 Vangaurd reputation. Level 20 strikes earn you 13 reputation and 2 marks. Level 22 strikes earn you 14 reputation and 3 marks. And level 24 strikes earn you 25 reputation and 6 marks. You can only earn 100 marks per week.

– Through Loot Drops on ordinary missions, including Engrams.

As Legendary gear is combined, new level thresholds are reached. As a player continues to grind, Legendary levels continue to unlock.

DAILY HEROIC STORIES

Daily Heroic Strikes are special events which unlock daily for post-game players. They become available after reaching Level 20, and offer special Vanguard Rewards. They are more difficult versions of Story Missions with modifiers to increase the challenge. These Strikes earn you 5 Vanguard marks for use in purchasing Legendary gear from Tower Vendors. Note that you can only earn 100 Vanguard marks in a given week.

WEEKLY HEROIC STRIKES

These high-difficulty strike Missions grant significant Vanguard Mark bonuses. They unlock and rotate weekly for Level 20 characters. These Strikes earn you 3 Vanguard Marks, 150 Vanguard reputation and 3 Strange Coins which are used to purchase gear from a vendor who only appears on weekends.

Easiest Way To Earn Gear in Destiny

Our Professional Destiny team has spent hundreds of hours in the solar system, exploring the worlds of Destiny over the last week. While our complete review isn’t quite ready, our explorations haven’t come without revelation. While working on a late mission on Venus, we ran into one of the easiest ways to grind out gear without spend too much destiny glimmer, and as gear does not drop based on the level of your opposition, but rather your actual level and a bit of luck, you can use this trick just as easily as we have.

While moving through the open world on the way toward your later objectives, spend your time in the courtyards with a fire team. Try your best to recruit anyone who can make your exploits easier to complete, and break the Vex and Fallen down where they spawn for maximum candy acquisition. Spewing out treasure like a fountain, you’ll never want to go back to the old ways of grinding again.
