Destiny The Dark Below DLC Gets Extended Released

Destiny’s first expansion have released today. Activision and Bungie give an extended about The Dark Below, which arrives for all platforms in two weeks on December 9.

The trailer introduces you to the wealth of content that awaits you in The Dark Below, including new weapons, armor, and gear, as well as new quests and missions. The expansion also includes three new competitive multiplayer maps (including Destiny’s first truly symmetrical map), in addition to a new six-player raid. The Dark Below also raises Destiny’s soft level cap to 32.

The Dark Below is included with the $35 Destiny DLC pass, or it can be purchased individually for $20 across Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4. Destiny’s DLC pass also grants access to Destiny’s second expansion, House of Wolves, which is coming sometime later.

Destiny is set seven hundred years into the future in a post-apocalyptic setting following a prosperous period of exploration, peace and technological advancement known as the Golden Age. In a universe where humans have spread out and colonized planets in the Solar System, an event known as “the Collapse” saw the mysterious dissolution of these colonies, the end of the Golden Age, and mankind teetering on the brink of extinction. The only known survivors of the Collapse are those living on Earth, who were saved by “the Traveller”, a white, spherical celestial body whose appearance centuries before had enabled humans to reach the stars. The Traveller now hovers above the last remaining human city, and its presence allows the “Guardians of the City”—the last defenders of the human race—the ability to wield an unknown power, only referred to as “The Light”.

Upon mankind’s first attempt to repopulate and reconstruct after the Collapse, it is discovered that hostile alien races have occupied mankind’s former colonies and civilizations and are now encroaching upon the City. The player takes on the role of a Guardian of the City, and is tasked with investigating and destroying these threats before humanity is completely wiped out.

Destiny Overview: Your story, You Craft it and Wield it

Destiny is a shared-world shooter, the first of its kind. It’s an action-adventure game where you are both the main character and the creator of the story. Destiny will be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 video game consoles on September 9, 2014

Destiny Overview: Your story, You Craft it and Wield it

As a Guardian, you will traverse the planets and stars, fighting for our survival and to keep hope alive. That doesn’t mean you have to do it alone. If you wish to, you can play Destiny completely alone, or you can go in with a fire-team of you and up to two others. Players can seamlessly be matched into your game to help you fight and explore. Public events will also be available to participate in at your leisure. The game includes multiplayer modes like, Skirmish, Rumble, Salvage, Clash, Combined Arms, Control, and Iron Banner. Destiny is your story; you craft it and wield it. Use it well. Be Brave.

Glimmer was once a source of power during the Golden Age. Now it is used as the main currency in The Last City, Earth. Destiny Glimmer is used to purchase items from venders in The Last City.

Guardians earn Glimmer from killing enemies in all game modes, for completing any mission, All PVP wins in the Crucible. It can also be found in various chests.

After defeating a great foe you will not leave unrewarded. Objects of blue and gold will appear. These glittering items are what will help fuel and progress your Guardian. The blue ones are known as Glimmer. Glimmer can also be found in chests hidden in various places throughout the world. The gold ones are simply called loot. Loot will be dropped when you defeat powerful foes. It will contain some sort of weapon, maybe even armour.

On top of those, you will also be able to recover things such as Orbs of Light, engrams (mysterious puzzles), and ammunitions.

Destiny’s Time Schedule, Release Date, And Other Launch Details

We all know that Destiny will be released on September 9, 2014 on PlayStation 3, PS3, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, but one big question remains. When will I be able to join the servers?

Destiny's Time Schedule, Release Date, And Other Launch Details

Bungie posted an update on the official Twitter saying that “Destiny servers will admit Guardians as soon as it is September 9th somewhere in the world. When you play is between you and your retailer.

Another update states “When it is September 9th somewhere in the world, and you have access to your very own version of Destiny, it will be time for you to create a character that will keep your company for a good, long time. Retailers will stick to time-zones. Our servers won’t know the difference. Retailers will break street date. Our servers won’t.

Bungie also said that you won’t be able to trade items in the full game. Trading will only be possible with your enemy like “trade your ammo for their loot”. They want us to work towards claiming that epic item and once we have it to be able to tell a badass story about it.

Back in April Tyson Green, lead player investment designer at Bungie, told IGN: “We’re really excited about creating a player economy. This is going to be a game that the community really drives, but for launch we’re going to be restricting it to trading items between your own characters.” So, I guess that we will get this option enabled at a later date, and who knows, maybe an Auction House or something similar.

Exclusive content will be made available to PS4 and PS3 owners, including an exclusive set of ships, gear, and guns, a co-op Strike mission on Mars, and a competitive multiplayer map. Destiny’s first expansion, The Dark Below, is scheduled for release in December.

Trading Won’t be Present in Destiny

It is said that trading won’t be present in Destiny when it launches. Destiny developers have made it clear that all of your gear must be attained with blood, sweat, and tears instead of swapped for another player’s loot or bought for virtual bucks.

trading won't be present in Destiny

“We want you to earn ’em. You should be able to tell a badass story for every sweet jewel in your arsenal,” Bungie wrote on its blog last week. “Once you earn them, the various Guardians under your account will be able to trade them, but weapons belong to the players who acquire them through action and bravery.”

The team reported that it did one final internal playtest of the game this past weekend: “Though Destiny may be basking in the gold light of release, we’re already looking ahead to the next milestone, and the next one after that.”

Explores Destiny New Trailer – The Planet Venus

Explores Destiny New Trailer - The Planet Venus

Gamers around the world are anxiously waiting for Destiny to be released. Activision has bankrolled this Bungie title to the tune of $500 million and already a lot of anticipation has been built up for Destiny through its early alpha and beta releases. The release is destined for next month and Bungie released a new trailer which explores planet Venus, offering us a glimpse of what’s to come.

The trailer shows that once Venus was a planet where great discoveries were made, and it became a beautiful planet due to humanity’s great achievements. However the Fallen descended on it and destroyed the entire planet, wrecking all that humanity had done for Venus.

This trailer is good enough to spark up our appetite for this title indeed, which no doubt a lot of gamers are waiting for. Bungie recently confirmed that any and all progress made during the beta release would not be transferable, so do keep in mind that when the title launches next month you will have to start from scratch. Bungie also recently confirmed a multiplayer expansion pack for Destiny that is going to be released in December.

Already countless gamers have placed pre-orders for the title, so much so that Best Buy had to cancel pre-orders of Destiny Limited Edition. The title is set for release on September 9th.

A Virtual Trip to Overview Destiny’s Mars

As we all know Mars is a planet in the Solar System, during the Golden Age of destiny, Mars was once home to a populated human metropolis, a massive city that now lies buried beneath the planet’s red dust, with only the peaks of its tallest skyscrapers poking out of the dunes as evidence that it ever existed. Guardians can now climb into those skyscrapers from their upper levels and venture into the depths below to discover what items and enemies may lie below the surface.

A Virtual Trip to Overview Destiny's Mars

Mars is but one of the locales on which Guardians will be making planet fall in Destiny, but it is perhaps the most rust-colored and sandy of them all. In a new video of official, the mysteries and vistas of the Red Planet is, well, not exactly explained in great detail, but at least teased in a visually pleasing way.

It looks as though mankind had made a previous stab at colonizing Mars, but now it’s a desolate wasteland where dunes are reclaiming skyscrapers. If the video is to be believed, it’s not exactly devoid of inhabitants, however. You can see it for yourself after the break.

Destiny Enemies Preview: Fallen, Vex, Cabal, Hive

Destiny Enemies-Fallen

Fallen
The Fallen are four armed aliens who are also sworn enemies of the human race. Bungie has quoted them as being “a nomadic race of once noble houses now scattered to the solar winds”. Fallen are hardy creatures who can survive in a wide range of environments without heavy armor or complex modifications to their physiology.

Vex

Vex
The Vex are a species of time-traveling robots vetted against humans. Vex are mass-produced machine units, constructed of an unknown metal alloy resembling hammered brass.

Cabal

Cabal
Cabal’s are a Juggernaut of a species, outfitted with thick armor and powerful weapons. Enemies of the human race, they inhabit the Exclusion Zone on Mars. They are a professional military operation.

Hive

Hive
The Hive have been referred to as “space zombies”, this leads us to believe they can infect other species. The Hive have carved a kingdom deep into the lifeless core of the Moon, and it is there they remain, silent and buried among many dark and terrible secrets.

Destiny Guide:How to kill the Devil Walker

Refer to:http://www.destiny-store.com/news/game-Destiny-1989/Destiny-GuideHow-to-kill-the-Devil-Walker-13886

The Devil Walker is a Fallen vehicle that acompanies packs of Fallen. They have strong armour and equally strong weapons making it difficult to take them down alone. It can be seen in action in the E3 demo.

Destiny Devil Walker

This is laughably easy with a good crew. First, keep behind cover and pick off the smaller enemies – watch out for the Fallen Captains.

Each of you should then take up a position far from your teammates. Facing the Devil Walker from the entrance to this area, good spots are behind the large pillar on the left; in the tunnel on the far right; and in the horizontal tunnel behind a bank of earth right in the middle. The Devil Walker will be constantly turning to face its most dangerous target of the moment, who ought already to be in retreat, giving the other two Guardians time to strike.

You’ll need a long range weapon. Keep your distance, and stay mobile. The boss has two major attacks you need to watch. If his turret lights up blue, move away. If a red targeting laser comes anywhere near you, leg it. (Remember; sprinting will cancel reload actions, and hitting reload or scope will cancel you out of a double jump much faster.) Both of these attacks do splash damage so really put some space between you and the projectiles. The two side positions need to back off further between attacks as they’re more exposed. Just shoot, get behind cover while the Devil Walker fires, rinse and repeat.

You need to shoot the Devil Walker on the legs; it takes very little damage anywhere else. If you shoot one leg enough to break off its armour, the Devil Walker will fall down and its case will open, exposing its vulnerable core. (If you don’t do this, you can still win – it just takes a lot longer.) The two Guardians on the sides should charge in and unleash supers and grenades; if you have a Hunter with you, it’s best if they stay in the central spot, because they can use their super to snipe – it’s easiest to hit from the left bank. Unarmoured legs are not worth shooting, so change targets when you’ve knocked one leg out.

When the field fills with enemies, retreat to someplace entirely safe from the Devil Walker and take them out, then return to continue hammering the boss.

If you run out of ammo check the puddle in front of the Devil Walker’s stage, and the stage itself, where plenty of downed Shanks should provide ammo drops. If the Devil Walker is firing or about to fire at a teammate you can usually nip in and grab some ammo, then go on the lam before you’re hit. If you keep running out of ammo, consider buying some ammo refill packs at the Tower before setting out, or use a slower, heavier weapon.

When the Devil Walker finally falls, the door behind it opens and a number of Fallen Dregs and Vandals will flood out. Don’t let them take you by surprise; this is a hot spot for first timers to party wipe.
